    Testing Notes

    Tested 6/28/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 75 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. No acceleration. Soaped perfectly.

    So disappointed

    I used the max rate, and while the soaping went well, the fragrance has comp,Evelyn vanished. The whole batch was a waste :(

    We're sorry you were disappointed! This fragrance worked well for us in our testing but as you will see from reviews some people find it to be very strong and long lasting in CP soap and others found that it was too light or faded. It's always a good idea to do a small test batch to see how it performs in your partucular recipe!

    LOVE / HATE

    When I tell you...this scent gave me orgasms! Such a wonderful smell it's not even funny! For someone who hates apricots. BUTTTT! man, Im so disappointed. Put it in some body butters, and the scent disappears literally in no time after applied. Just poof! Out the bottle it nearly knocked me off my seat! Its so strong. I don't know how :( I want to rate this a 10, but I can't. We need something to stick.

    Beautiful Scent

    This oil worked well in cold process soap. It did not discolor, no acceleration, no ricing. It is a long lasting scent and will be a good fit to my spring collection.

    Smells absolutely amazing. I don’t recommend for cold process soap though, as the scent doesn’t last thru the saponification process. But this is amazing in sugar scrubs and bath bombs.

    I love apricots!

    I was looking for a peach fragrance and although this is apricot, I think it really nails it. It kind of reminds me of peach rings (the candy). I made CP soap with it and it behaved well through the whole process. It still smells lovely as it's curing and makes the whole room smell nice. Will definitely buy again and try it with lotion.

    Creamy apricot, my customers love!

    My customers loved this one, but not a personal fave. I pick up on more of a creamy note than anything else honestly. OOB it smells like a fresh apricot though. -Likely better in a lotion rather than CP soap.
