Lime Appeal Mica

Lime Appeal mica is an electric green. It is a bright and bold color with yellow undertones that is almost neon. In cold process it will mellow a bit but still offer a gorgeous yellow-green that pops with color. In clear melt and pour, this color is very bright! Lime Appeal can turn a bit gray or brown during saponification, but will change back to a bright green within 24-48 hours.

Works good for Solid Colored Soaps~

Although my tendency is to be drawn to lighter shades of green from Nurture Soap, LIME APPEAL works well when used as a one-color solid in cold process soap. The green by itself was fine but it definitely popped when paired with the white batter. I have used this mica in swirls and it seems to "get lost" in the batter. Also, do not be alarmed when the shade of color is totally DIFFERENT during pour and during saponification. It does and will turn back to a Lime color. (I may have forced gel with this LIME & COCONUT.)

My favorite green

This is such a "fun" green. I use it mixed with green neon for my citrus scented soap and on its own in lime scented soaps. I split the batter, using the mix at various amounts to get a nice variation in my 3 shade swirl. I mix the mica directly into my unscented soap batter with a wire whisk at emulsion.
