Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

As with most green micas, this color may turn a darker brown or murky gray during saponification. Don't worry! If this happens, please wait up to 48 hours for the original green color to return in cold and hot process soaps. The color change will not occur in melt and pour soaps, due to these types of soap having a lower pH.

it leans more towards yellow

It is pretty in person but never stayed true to color.

Yellow Green beauty!

I love New Leaf. It's a bright mix of yellow and green and it's the perfect color to use as a secondary color note along with deeper greens, muted greens, and pastels. I turn to this color time and time again to create sophisticated color combinations. A staple and a must have!

New Leaf is a Surprise in Cold Process Soap

I thought new leaf would be very bright but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it is the best green I've ever seen! I Love this color mica! My picture doesn't do it justice because this soap is actually a warm green and turquoise but that soap picture looks too vibrant. But you get the idea.

This a beautiful green. I’m not a fan of green but this color blew me away. I will order again
