    Ingredients & Info

    📁 SDS

INCI: Mica, titanium dioxide, ultramarine blue, tin oxide
    Micron Size: 10-60

    Cosmetic use:
    • Eyes
    • External Use

    Ideal for:
    • Soap
    • Resin
    • Crafts
    • Lotion
    • Butters
    • Wax Melts
    • Nail Polish

Prop 65: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

    Soap Use Notes

    • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
    • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

This is a tricky color to work with. We recommend this color for those who are more advanced soap makers. When not enough is used it can go gray. It can also have a greenish cast in very yellow or green oils. Use as white of a base as possible. Don't add titanium dioxide to make your base more white, as this will make any color used more pastel. The oils themselves must be as close to white as possible.

The use rate is 2 tsp. per pound of oils. If you use less this color will be gray. This color performs best when fully gelled. When used correctly, this color produces a dark navy black/blue unlike any other, and it's absolutely gorgeous!

Nurture Soap is the only place I use for micas because the quality and affordability is always the same. Dark Navy Blue is no different. It's a gorgeous deep blue with a little shimmer. It performed beautifully in my ocean themed cold process goat milk soap.

    Dazzling!!

This blue is one of the the most beautiful blues I've ever been lucky enough to work with. It's a dark, rich blue with the perfect amount of sparkle to remind you of stars reflecting off calm ocean waters in the middle of a moonlit night.

    Great Navy Blue

This came out exactly the dark shade of navy blue I wanted. If you use it in CP soap, gelling and using a wooden mold produces the deep, dark blue. I love this color!

    Perfect Navy!

Love this navy blue mica. Up til now I have been using bright blues and darkening them to navy using Black Oxide (also from Nurture). This one eliminates the need to do that! Love this color so much, and it will be a new staple in my soaping supplies.

    Rich Deep Blue

This color has great depth. a dark tone, but still very blue. I have also mixed with white to get a really nice pastel blue. Mixes well and holds up in CP soap. Highly recommend

    Love it

Once of my favorite dark navy blue colors! I have tried this in cold process soap and the soap came out very nice, however, I have not tried this in M&P.
