• Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
• Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

Black Pearl is our preferred black mica for clear melt and pour. Due to it's silver sheen, it can make MP really pop! For a darker, truer black in cold process soaps try Activated Charcoal or Nocturnal Mica. Activated charcoal makes a truer black than any mica we have tried, and is out go-to for achieving true black in cold process soap that does not bleed or migrate.
If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.
