Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 2-3 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

Enviroglitters are the only glitter we have found that can add sparkle to cold process soaps! They need to be used at about 3 teaspoons per pound of oils to achieve a sparkle effect. If used at less than 3 teaspoons you will not achieve a high saturation of color or sparkle.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Enviroglitters can add sparkle to bathwater when used in bath bombs! They are some of the only brightly colored glitters for bath bombs available. Dust on top or add to bath bombs for extra fabulousness!

glitter looks great on candles and bath bombs

I've mentioned before how much I love this glitter

In fact, I love *all* Nurture's glitter. But this one is such a great shade of purple that I want to sprinkle it on everything, all the time. It helped make great, shimmering wings on my Nightfall-scented butterfly soaps.

Similar to Imperial Purple

I found this Eclipse Enviroglitter to be similar in color to the Imperial Purple. Imperial Purple has more of a pink shade to it & this one has more blue hints to it, but when coloring my soaps they seem to both come out to very similar shades in the finished product. I really do like both of these, and as a decorative topper you can definitely see a difference, but I’m not sure that I’d buy both again.

In short, I’d definitely want to have one on hand, & I’d be happy to have either of them, but I don’t feel that I need both.

Perfect purple glitter!

This is one of my favorite purples from nurture! It sparkles which is also amazing! It’s a tough choice between this one and imperial purple but I think this one has my heart!
