Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Pretty good

I bought this brown to use for Christmas time to make gingerbread colored soap. It worked very well. It probably isn't a fault to the mica and more to the user but it was hard for me to get a nice solid brown color and not greyish brown. All in all after a little practice I did get better at it and have used this color in various soaps.
