Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 3 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

This can be used as an alternative to Titanium Dioxide. The samples shown in our pictures are typical use rates of 1 tsp. per pound which is not enough to significantly whiten soap.

To use as an alternative to titanium dioxide, Winter White mica should be used at 3 tsp. per pound of oils. This will result in a much brighter white and there is no speckling as titanium dioxide can sometimes do.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Great Mica

I use this instead of TD alot and I LOVE it. SO much easier to blend and still looks white when cured. A+

Perfect performance.

I love how this mica behaves. Usually I had problems trying to get the white I wanted and avoiding glycerin rivers when I used TD.

Excellent white

Finally I find a white color that makes my soap really white. Works much better than TD. Highly recommend.

I started using this instead of TD and am never going back!
