Description

Green dye colorant makes a bright green color in bath bombs and melt and pour soaps. This dye will appear orange in the jar and will turn green when activated with water.

Our Green Dye Mix contains certified FD&C Yellow 5, FD&C Blue 1. Batch certification information is available on each jar of dyes and lakes that are sold by Nurture Soap. Mixtures are made from certified lots of colors and do not require certification of the final mixture per the FDA.

The powder in the jar may look different than you expect! Dyes need to be added to water to turn into their true color.

Dyes are very concentrated! A little goes a very long way. Dye can stain hands, counter tops, or anything it touches. Wear gloves and protect all work surfaces.

Cold Process Soap: Dyes are not recommended for CP soap. They tend to morph, migrate into other colors, and bleed.

Liquid & MP Soaps: They are absolutely wonderful for use in melt & pour and liquid soaps. Dilute the dye with a bit of water then add to your soap.

Bath Bombs: Dyes are best when bloomed before adding to your bath bomb recipe. Blooming means to dissolve a bit of dye in water first, then add to the baking soda that goes in your bath bomb mix.

Lazy girl...

I always find it hard to make my own green.... I know, I know, just mix blue and yellow but I find that I never get a consistent shade that I am happy with. This green dye is perfect for me because it eliminates the frustration I get trying to get that perfect green! Thank you!

Lovely Shade of Green

I use Mica to color my exfoliating foaming sugar scrubs. This color swirled with the Yellow Raincoat makes for a stunning color display. Awesome eye candy!

These are the best dyes for bath bombs

I have had issues with other dyes changing colors, not being consistent, not matching the color stripe on the container, etc. Nuture Soap dyes are the only ones that haven’t done any of these things and the color is always consistent. I won’t buy from anywhere else!
